A CONTAINER GARDEN
Containers are like sculpture when placed in Roberto Silva's garden. The bigger the container, the more it creates a statement in the garden. Sometimes they are used as a single piece to create a focal point, or in groups, when the possibility of planting in the ground is not possible. Whatever the case, here are some examples of containers in his projects:
White Tulips (Tulip purissima) planted in groups in a terracotta container creates simplicity in the garden. Black tulips (Tulip Queen of the Night) creates a statement in the Foster Garden. Zink containers in different size planted with blue felicia reflecting the blue colour of the Ceanothus.

Tree ferns and tall black planters planted with a selection of container plants such as nicotiana, ferns and bacopa. On the left a single container is placed like a sculpture by the tree ferns.
