PHILISOPHY AND INSPIRATION
"Great creativity requires the capacity to hold diverse fragments in mind while looking for a pattern that yields their union." - Stuart Kauffman
Philosophy
Working as a landscape and garden designer, Roberto's main aim is to work according to customer's requirements, budget and ambition, making sure that the design fits well with the house and landscape.
His work is clean, without too many ornaments with well-defined proportion, forms and shapes. Where possible not limiting the design to composition of plants.
Taking these consideration into account, he will also ensure his schemes are implemented to the highest standard and attention to details.
Inspiration
Inspiration and influences can come from anything he sees and from a collage of ideas and memories stored during his life, as well as intuition and emotion.
Gardens have also great impact in his work. Apart from Burle Marx, the bold planting of Christopher- Lloyd, the sculptural garden of Nicole de Vesian, the modern Zen version of Isabelle Greene, Californian Zen gardens and the irreverent formality of the work of Ludwig Van Gern.
