PLANTING

 

 

Agaves, planted in a front garden, make a statement in the composition. Planted in between three Cordyline australis and underplanted with bright and orange poppies.

 

Above right, Trachycarpus fortunei, bamboo and euphorbia mellifera underplanted with Agapanthus africanus created different height and texture. Top left, we have different shade lovers plants and he used Zantedeschia aethiopica as the accent plant. Bottom left, a detail on the raised bed using ferns and allium.

 

 

Crocosmia Lucifer creates drama and impact around the decking planted with Yuccas, agaves and underplanted with Festucas glauca.

 

Structure and height are very much part of his garden. Above, several shrubs were planted for colour and shape and underplanted with alliums and other herbaceous. Below left, another composition using Echiums in the center of the composition. Below right, black tulips and Ligularias in early spring
