COLOUR
Colour is an important part in Roberto Silva's designs. They are used in combination with foliage and structural plants and are usually focused in one or two seasons.

In this raised bed, colour comes with the golden flowers of the Euphorbia chacaracias "wulfenii", alliums and the stunning blue of ceanothus.
The light blue of the wisteria in a Highgate garden. A shaded border planted with Hellebores, and different tulips. His favourite are Tulip Angelique and Tulip Purissima. On the bottom right, the pink and purple of the alliums under a tree.
Yellow from the hakonechloa, Alliums and the white blossom of the philadelphus on the top picture. On the left right the autumn colour comes with the rudbeckias, eupatorium and sedum planted around architectural plants. On the bottom left the large flowers of the poppies in contrast with the silver leaves of the agave americana.
Colour does not come only with herbaceous and perennials plants but also with shrubs, here we have the blue of the ceanothus and the light orange blossom of the Euphorbia mellifera.
