GARDEN DETAILS

What would be a garden without a feature, a detail or an interesting element? In Roberto Silva's garden designs he incorporates some features. Usually one or two so that it does not make the space too busy. Some of those features define the whole garden, like the wall in the Foster Garden, or the raised beds in a Highgate space.

Above, the water feature in the Foster Garden. Below left, the details of a slate wall, centre a single water feature in a north London garden, and right, a detail of an oak trellis, designed in an organic shape.

The raised beds that replaces pots and ornamentation making in itself a feature in the garden.
